Scarab Jet Boat Service & Repair Across Coastal South Florida

Liquid Industries provides mobile service and repair for Scarab jet boats from Hollywood to Jupiter, covering the waterfront of Broward and Palm Beach County. Scarabs run BRP Rotax engines and jet drives, the same propulsion family we service every day on Sea-Doo watercraft, so your boat gets a technician who already knows the drivetrain. We work at your dock, on your lift, or on the trailer at your home.

Why Rotax Experience Matters for Scarab Owners

A Scarab is, mechanically, closer to a Sea-Doo than to any sterndrive boat. The Rotax 900 ACE, 1503, and 1630 ACE engines, the jet pumps, the intelligent throttle and reverse systems, and the closed-loop cooling all come from BRP. Many boat yards see few of them and treat them as an oddity. We see Rotax propulsion constantly. Parts sourcing, service intervals, and known failure points are things we already carry in our heads and in the truck, which shortens diagnosis and keeps your boat on the water.

Scarab Models We Service

We cover the Scarab jet line from the compact 165 up through the 195, 215, 255, and the 28 foot 285, in single and twin Rotax configurations, including Impulse, HO, and Wake editions. Twin-engine models get two full engine services per visit, and we confirm the quote with you before work starts.

What We Do on a Scarab

  • Annual engine service. Rotax oil and filter change, spark plugs, supercharger inspection on boosted engines, cooling system check, corrosion treatment, battery test, and a complete operational check. Starting at $550 per engine, subject to confirmation.
  • Diagnostics. Check-engine lights, alarms, limp mode, no-start, and performance complaints, using the same BRP diagnostic approach we apply to Sea-Doo. $200 call-out fee plus $200 per hour, with a $400 minimum per visit.
  • Jet pump and driveline work. Wear rings, impellers, carbon seals, and driveshaft service. Cavitation, vibration, and loss of thrust are pump problems and we resolve them at your location.
  • Electrical and controls. Throttle and shift electronics, reverse gate and lateral thrust controls, gauges, batteries, and salt-related wiring faults.
  • Pre-purchase inspections. Compression, computer scan, pump and hull inspection, and a written report with photos before you buy a used Scarab. Starting at $400, subject to confirmation.

Dock, Lift, or Trailer: Your Choice

Scarabs are well suited to in-place service. Engine access is through the hatch, and there is no outdrive to pull. We service boats floating at private docks, raised on lifts, in marina slips with dockmaster coordination, or on the trailer in your driveway. There is no haul-out, no yard queue, and no towing bill. When the job is done you receive a detailed service report with photos.

Scarab Service FAQs

Who works on Scarab jet boats near me in South Florida?

Liquid Industries services Scarab jet boats mobile, at your dock, lift, marina, or trailer, anywhere on the coast from Hollywood to Jupiter. Call (954) 816-4489 to schedule.

Is a Scarab serviced like a Sea-Doo?

Largely, yes. Scarabs use BRP Rotax engines and jet drives, so oil service, pump maintenance, and diagnostics follow the same platform logic as Sea-Doo watercraft. That overlap is exactly why Scarab owners come to us.

Do you service twin-engine Scarabs like the 255 and 285?

Yes. Twin Rotax models receive two complete engine services in one visit. Because parts and labor roughly double on twins, we confirm your quote before any work begins.

My Scarab pulls to one side or loses thrust. Can you fix that dockside?

Usually. Thrust loss and handling complaints on Scarabs typically trace to the jet pump: a worn wear ring, damaged impeller, or debris. We inspect and repair pump components at your location in most cases.

Do I need to trailer my Scarab to a shop for annual service?

No. Annual service is performed with the boat in the water, on the lift, or on your trailer at home. Annual service is $750 for single-engine and $1,250 for twin-engine Scarabs, subject to confirmation.

Schedule Scarab service at your dock. Call (954) 816-4489 or Book Now. Seven days a week, 9:00 to 5:00.
