Sea-Doo GTX, RXP-X, RXT-X and GTR Service, Dockside

Liquid Industries services Sea-Doo’s flagship family, the GTX, GTX Limited, RXP-X, RXT-X, and GTR, at your dock, marina, trailer, or yacht across Broward and Palm Beach County. Annual service is $550, we carry BUDS diagnostic capability to every job, and supercharged models get the specific attention their 230 and 300 hp Rotax engines demand. These are the most capable watercraft Sea-Doo builds, and they are what we work on most.

One Platform, Serious Machinery

The full-size Sea-Doo range shares the ST3 and T3 hull platforms and the 1630 ACE Rotax engine in naturally aspirated and supercharged forms. That is good news for owners: parts logistics are clean and we know these hulls, ride plates, and pump tunnels inside out. Whether you run a GTX 170 as a family cruiser, an RXT-X 300 for offshore runs out of the inlet, or a GTR 230 as the fast middle ground, the service fundamentals are the same and the details differ. We handle both.

Annual Service, $550 at Your Location

The annual covers Rotax oil and filter, spark plugs, jet pump and wear ring inspection, cooling and exhaust checks, battery load test, corrosion treatment, and a full BUDS scan with the hour history documented in your service report. An oil and filter change on its own is $350. Every rate we charge is published on the pricing page, and trailer-side work carries no surcharge; dockside or on-yacht service adds $200 per watercraft. South Florida skis run all year, so treat the annual as a floor, not a ceiling, if your hours climb fast.

Supercharged Models Need a Second Layer of Care

If your ski wears a 230 or 300 badge, the supercharger is a wear item with real consequences when ignored. Falling RPM, a soft holeshot, or a change in the blower’s whine are signals to act, not ride through. We inspect superchargers as part of routine service and handle rebuilds and replacement through our dedicated Sea-Doo supercharger service, with any major work quoted after inspection rather than guessed at over the phone.

BUDS Diagnostics at the Dock

Fault codes, limp mode, iBR warnings, key programming, sensor data: on a modern Sea-Doo it all runs through BRP’s BUDS platform, and we bring that capability to your seawall. Diagnosis and repair is $200 for the call-out plus $200 per hour, with a $400 minimum per visit. Most electrical and sensor issues on the GTX and RX families are identified in the first hour and many are fixed the same day.

iBR: Respect the Brake

The iBR brake and reverse system is one of the best features on these skis and one of the most misunderstood. The actuator and gate live behind the pump in constant saltwater exposure, and a sticking gate, calibration fault, or worn actuator shows up as poor low-speed handling, error codes, or a ski stuck in neutral. We check iBR operation and calibration during service and diagnose actuator faults on site, before a docking maneuver goes wrong in front of your neighbors.

Where We Work

From Hollywood north to Jupiter, if it is on the coast, we cover it. Flagship Sea-Doos keep us busy in Fort Lauderdale, in Palm Beach, and up in Jupiter, where RXT-X owners run the inlet hard. For the wider lineup see the Sea-Doo hub, and for all brands and models, our jet ski service page. We focus on modern four-stroke watercraft, roughly 2002 and newer; older two-strokes are not something we take on, though we are happy to give honest advice if you call.

GTX and RXP-X Service FAQs

How much does annual service cost on a GTX or RXP-X?

Annual service is $550 at your dock, trailer, or marina, covering oil and filter, plugs, pump inspection, battery test, corrosion treatment, and a BUDS scan. Trailer work has no surcharge; dockside or on-yacht adds $200 per watercraft.

Do you handle the supercharger during a normal service?

We inspect it and check RPM against spec during every annual. Rebuilds and replacements are a separate job, quoted after inspection through our supercharger service, so you never pay for work the ski does not need.

Can you diagnose iBR problems at my dock?

Yes. We carry BUDS capability to every visit, which reads iBR faults, runs calibrations, and tests the actuator on site. Most iBR issues are diagnosed in a single appointment.

My RXT-X threw a fault code offshore. What now?

Do not keep running it hard. Call us, describe the code and behavior, and we will scan it at your dock. Diagnosis runs $200 call-out plus $200 per hour with a $400 minimum, and you get a written finding with photos.

Keep the flagship sharp. Call (954) 816-4489 or Book Now for service at your dock. Open seven days, 9:00 to 5:00.
